Hey everyone I am new to the site. Ive got a 1972 18' Challenger jet boat with a 1978 454 with about 550hp. Last year I blew my engine racing a friends eliminator with a 250 merc on it wasnt pretty. i got the boat outa the shop in december and now I finally used her for the first time about 2 wks ago, and she ran like a champ! Ya, I wooped him outa the water but I ran her a little hard and burt up a few pistons and and both head gaskets in four places haha
