BBC 049 heads

Ok guys,
Building a mild BBC for the Mandella. Have forged crank, forged pistons, 7/16 re conned rods, balanced rotating assembly, etc.... I did not source parts out, but am stuck with them and would like to use as there paid for :)
My question is, I have L2399 TRW forged pistons, and 049 heads... This gives me about 8.2:1 or so... I have a very mild hydro flat tap cam (218/228 - 500/500) that likes low compression... How much can I surface the 122cc heads to get to about 9.0:1?? Is this even possible??
Motor is just for towing skiers and not a high hp deal.
Thanks!!!

 why bring the compression up with that in mind?

Ditto, leave the compression and burn the cheap fuel.  Just my .02

Not really a motor guy and didn't know how little compression was to little :) Doing a little more research I'll be around 8.4-8.8:1 or so depending where everything cc's at.... Yes, boat is a cheap deal to run cheap gas and be reliable..
Thanks!

It should be fine with that combo. That's rite in there with my Hawaiian. It loves regular and runs 4500 all day long! :smile30:
