Geez, I don't know generation, I think it is an older motor, as far as price, I am sure a couple three hundred would get it, but I want somebody to look first, nothing wrong with that I know, but you know how that works.

I think the 8 may be a 3.
This came off of a sheet with all of the casting numbers.

3999289....454.......72-79...2 or 4 bolt, some "CE" replacement blocks had four bolt main caps

Should be a good one.

Billy by the 4th, it will probably be back in Houston.  We sold Palestine.  My motor man says this block is one of the really killer stock blocks cause of 2 both mains.. he says, means saddle straps are a lot stronger than the 4 bolt.  We will be here weekends of Memorial, next, next, next, and then we are back based in Houston.
