Thats what i was thinking from the beginnig. Thanks for the help. Ill let ya know what i find when i tear the engine apart.

When you tear it down pay close attention to the ring gap locations this may shed a light on this story

You thinking that the gap locations are all aligned that is giving my issue?

It would be a sign that they weren't moving around like they should

It does have breathers on both valve covers but now that you mentioned it I cannot recall a tube coming from the carb down. I will have to look.

Yea, The problem is where it is currently it cannot sit. It has to stay mobile. If it does sit it cannot stay down for long. Thus i need to find a running engine already OR find another block and go from there...  think.gif

BUT i still need that dipstick..
