Does anyone have these? I was thinking about going with them to get a really clean look topside. Just wondering how the mechanism holds up over time.

Where did you get your lights from? I need to get those ordered up too. Neat Cleats with blue interior and transom LED's. That's my bling. Oh, and a banging system.

Those cleats are bad a$$!!

George also got his interior LEDs from the same guy I got my transom lights from and they look freakin' great! Here's the web site. The dude Chris at Costal Nightlights has free shipping.

I want to get those neat cleats on mine too...they are awesome looking.

Yeah, a little more expensive than $12 chrome ones, but way slick, not terribly expensive, and a one time expense. Worth it!!

Good find. About $10 cheaper than I could find shipped on Amazon... Plus I was able to use the company credit card.. LOL

EDIT: It was $17.82 cheaper to be exact.

I saw a couple of Ranger bass boats at Bass Pro today that had Neat Cleats on them. They're really slick. Can't wait to see them mounted.

Speaking of finhing touches... Bezels, I need blue bezels. I think the bezels thread is buried about 10 pages back.

The UPS guy just dropped off the Neat Cleats from Iboats. That was fast.

They didn't come with a rubber gasket. Maybe they don't get one? I didn't notice if the boats at Bass Pro had gaskets or not.

Those look great James. I guess the person to ask is George as I didn't notice whether or not he had gaskets or not. I didn't notice the neat cleats at BP had them either. Since it's so close to you, it might be worth your time to stop by and see for yourself.

One would think gaskets would fit between the cleat and the gel coat.

Probably silicone at the holes. These are available, but I'll pass. They cost more to ship than buy.

That is the backing plate to go inside the hull not a trim peace.

Peace brutha... The washers that come with it are HUGE. Maybe one would need the backing plate where there is not enough room to use those gigantic washers.

Now that you cleared the air as to what they are... Backing plates, duh (Should have read the desription). The more I think about it the more I realize they will only make the mooring points stronger. I may get a set after all. Or just just get some flat stock from Home Depot and drill them out with the same bit I drill the holes in the hull with.
