Got the hull stripped. The only things remaining are are the pump, the gas tank and the wiring. Found a bad spot in the floor that was under the driver seat pedestal mount. Next weekend will be glassing in a new floor.

From what I can tell the runners underneath were good and the foam was dry. Found some original vinyl in a side panel.

Cool. I don't have a full sheet of marine grade but craddock does keep it. I used the west system epoxy resin when I did my floor. I was very pleased with it. Chad helped me with it. It was not really that big of a project.

'78 Crusader said:The resin doesn't care but the hardener does. Check into the temperature ranges before you start work and fine out the resin won't cure.
Last Mohican said:Hey Cliff, My big boat had a welded on jack. At some point someone cut it off and added bolt on one. Not the best looking but definitely a DIY fix if you don't have welding skillz. You might be the exception but in my experience most Ford guys can't weld. They tend to fix their junk by replacing it with a Chevy.
